Sizing Europe to run again
The latest new from 2008 Champion Hurdle favourite Sizing Europe’s stables is that trainer Henry De Bromhead will be running his charge once more before the Cheltenham Festival.
Whilst the date or location of the race has not yet been disclosed, De Bromhead is clearly looking to boost Sizing Europe’s confidence further in the aftermath of his brilliant run at the AIG Europe Champion Hurdle.
Considering how rapidly and unexpectedly Sizing Europe romped to the head of the 2008 Champion Hurdle odds table, some of you may ask what all the fuss is about. The reply is put forward eloquently by Sizing Europe’s excellent race record.
Sizing Europe has been run 10 times during his short career. During this time he has won five races and showed on two other occasions. More importantly, Sizing Europe has a win at Cheltenham under his belt, along with a string of wins at heavy Irish racecourses.
Sizing Europe is also no slouch over short distances and can easily handle the pace of a fast race. He also has a win at 2 miles 2 furlongs to his credit, which means he should have no problem over the 2008 Champion Hurdle distance. Sizing Europe is currently priced at 2/1 by William Hill.
